"Pele" Volcano Goddess with child "Iki Ahi" Here the Goddess of the Volcanoes, keeper of the third heaven, Goddess of fire, Creative energy, Goddess of the Cleansing, embrace's "Iki Ahi" the child of the flame, the purest part of the flame.
"The signs are everywhere, therefore, the lessons are everywhere." When next you view the flame of a candle, may this food for thought come to mind....

The smallest part of the flame may represent the purest part of the flames presence, not unlike true "Creative Energy," when the Spirit of the Creator comes through us. The Secondary part of the flame, may resemble, when we undertake a project with only good intention, our ego assures us we are in control, yet when we look back always something seems to be amiss. The third part, when we seem to forget we are spiritually accountable, yet we destroy, bi-product usually surfaces as a cleansing has taken place for the Creator's act of Creation, which is neverending.

Man & Woman, one Spirit

one spirit

Totem Carved of kiawe wood, (mesquite), at her knee are the spirit's of the wave- the bottom of the jaw represents the wave that brings to shore, the top that which cleans the shore. The top of her head, the Creator's hand with the serpent as the forehand, wrist, & palm.

It should be noted that the soft or sap wood has always been referred to as the "Hina"-feminine, the heart wood, as the "Ku"-male, so each piece of wood, each human has the energy of male-female, yet is one Spirit.

The small orb by the hand of the Creator represents the wind, the source of our first breath, the receiver of our last breath.

Pele, the fire Goddess dominates the back of this piece, "Ike-Ahi," the spirit of the smallest or inner part of each flame, awaits at her side.
